The Zone Diet
This week your cadet is eating on the zone diet. This diet, which is used by many high-level athletes, includes lots of lean protein and complex carbohydrates. The diet eliminates most sugars and processed foods, but includes lots of monounsaturated fat (good fat - almond butter, nuts, olive oil, avocados, etc.) and a daily serving of Omega-3 (fish oil).
