Day 5: Morning Workout

We got the guys up at 0700 today. After a bit of personal time and a good warm up, we put them through today's CrossFit workout, a twelve-minute team challenge consisting of the following elements:

3 Rounds of Pull Ups, 1 minute
3 Rounds of Box Jumps, 20" Box, 1 minute
3 Rounds of Slam Ball, 30 lb Ball, 1 minute
3 Rounds of Sit Ups, 1 minute

Each team consisted of 4 members, with one member at each station at all times. The team members rotated through the 4 stations 3 times for a total of 12 one-minute rounds. The team with the highest number of cumulative repetitions was declared the winner. Team 7 (Cadets "Dimples" "Froto" "Judo Kid" and "Wiski") won decisively with 1484 repetitions:

Next up for today: Guest Instructor Igor Yakimov. Poor, poor cadets... they have no idea what's in store for them....
